The David S Moore Foundation was founded in 2011 by Spencer & Jo Ann Moore: proud parents of IMPD Officer David Moore, whose watched ended on January 26, 2011. By the grace of God & the genorosity of the community, David S Moore's legacy will live on through this foundation. We will focus on giving back to the great city of Indianapolis, as well as the countless organizations that were meaningful to David.

Welcome to the Officer David S. Moore Foundation, celebrating the life of a warrior. David spent his life in service to his community beyond his role as an Indianapolis police officer. Following his death, the incredible stories of his kindness and generous spirit began to circulate in the news and throughout the community. Even his father and mother, also Indianapolis police, found many of these stories unexpected and inspiring. The Officer David S. Moore Foundation has been created by David’s parents to continue and support this sense of community involvement in Indianapolis by everyday residents.
